Barossa Distilling Co is an award-winning Australian Distillery located in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Drawing inspiration from Barossa botanicals, the distillery has delved into the worlds of gin, vodka, liqueurs, whisky, brandy and cocktails.

Made using Barossa Shiraz Gin, awarded the 2024 World’s Best Flavoured Gin, the Shiraz Gin Sour is a customer favourite at the distillery and a Barossa speciality. Easy to make at home, this cocktail pairs deep berry flavours with a hint of zest which results in silky-smooth drinking.

Shiraz Gin Sour

SHIRAZ GIN SOUR COCKTAIL

45ml Barossa shiraz gin (Awarded World’s Best Flavoured Gin at the 2024 World Gin Awards)

30ml lemon juice

15ml simple syrup

30ml aquafaba/egg white or 10ml wonderfoam

sage leaf, dehydrated citrus wheel or rose petal to garnish


 

First, add all ingredients to a shaker and dry shake for 15-20 seconds.

Then add ice and shake for 15-20 seconds.

Double strain into a coupe.

Lastly, garnish with sage leaf, dehydrated citrus wheel or rose petals.
