A winter beach is a good place for seeing clearly is a suite of sculptural and wall works, which nestle between function and uselessness. Vibrating, bubbling, rocking; mimicking the ways in which we self soothe to find focus and relief.

Continuing Glass Associate Julia Fernandes is currently exhibiting a collection of contemporary glass works in Lush: South Australian Botanicals at JamFactory at Seppeltsfield. This exhibition showcases contemporary craft practitioners’ responses to the rare and unusual beauty of native botanical plants across the South Australian landscape, with artists exploring form, shapes, colours, texture and, in some cases, their edibility and medicinal value.
